Chen Yi Fei, from Shanghai, made himself famous in Shanghai in the late 70s and early 80's , and then in New York. He is one of the early teachers of John Chen. He is now one of the most expensive mordern Chinese Artists in the world. Any of his work could be auctioned for tens of millions, even a tiny drawing still worth a million. Imaging in the early 80's he was doing portrait drawings at New York for as lillte as 20 USD!
